Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 First Ride

Hi, I am Bishanka Sinha, Admin of The Lycans North Bengal. I am a self professed foodie and an avid motorcyclist. Currently,  I ride a Bajaj Pulsar As200.  Today, I am sharing my first ride experience of The Husqvarna Vitpilen 250.

So, as soon as you switch on the bike and the speedometer lights up, it shows its mark “Pioneering since 1903” and yes it is and has to be eye-catching, I mean why not, a company which is more than hundred years old and took its first step in our country with a bang, THE VITPILEN 250.

Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 – styling

A compact retro modern cafe racer, this is what I would say if you ask me to describe this bike. Riding this bike was one hell of a scene, the seating and the clip on handle bars the body work and the lights are just mesmerizing, The LED headlights, taillights and indicators are well detailed and all these thing just adds on to the beauty of the bike.

The exhaust note is a just sweet, yet it roars. Its compact, yet powerful and has a street presence and is definitely a head turner.

Suspension

Talking about the head turner, I have to say the WP Apex on the front gives you a well support on the road, does not let you feel a jerk. The seating is awesome but im worried about the posture, your back might ache a lil but the pain is worth.

The 9 litre fuel capacity, well the bike is compact as of it the fuel capacity is well enough. 

Ergonomics

I  am 5 ft 10 tall and for me it was just smooth. Riding  that bike on the street and getting all the attention is just bliss. The ground clearance is just adequate for indian roads. Specially potholes and speed breakers, it does the job. You might feel a bump if the speed breaker or the pothole is too big. However,everything  else on the bike just adds up to the final beauty.

So as for the all over experience and first ride, i would say I had an awesome feel riding the Vitpilen on the streets and this husky is gonna be howling around the streets within no time. Its a bike for all young riders, cafe racer lovers.
