KTM is committed to building a robust ecosystem that nurtures and elevates racing talent in India. Key initiatives in this direction include a motorsport training facility in Bangalore, India, which includes racing program development. KTM has been actively participating in FMSCI accredited races and supporting budding racers across the country. A key part of this effort includes the sponsorship of Shlok Ghorpade, a promising supercross athlete who held 4 National titles in 2023 in the novice &jr. categories onboard his KTM 250 SX-F. In 2024, Shlok dominated the offroad championship in the elite class 1 category & leads the SX championship in the elite category.
KTM Ready to Race: A Decade of Growth and Expansion in India with Bajaj Auto
Over the past decade, KTM has significantly expanded its footprint in India through its strategic partnership with Bajaj Auto, marked by two distinct growth phases. Beginning in 2012, KTM introduced a comprehensive lineup of premium motorcycles in the 200cc to 390cc range, featuring both Naked and Supersport models, while establishing a widespread sales and service network. From 2020, the brand further diversified its offerings by launching specialized models like the KTM ADVENTURE range and introducing the KTM Pro-XP program, which provides riders with unique,
tailored experiences across Adventure, offroad and Tarmac. The launch of the global KTM range in India marks the third phase of this successful partnership.
