The number of road accidents increased day by day across the country. In particular, two-wheeler riders faced a large number of accidents. Many times, unfortunate incidents occurred due to not wearing helmets, not following traffic rules, and speeding. Therefore, Road Safety Week was celebrated in January. Various programs were organized to create awareness in society about how to follow traffic rules and what exactly traffic rules are.
Traffic problems increased day by day in Pune city. The number of people who did not follow traffic rules was large in Pune city. Due to this, the number of accidents in Pune city also increased. For this, 98.3 Mirchi, a leading name in the radio world, celebrated Road Safety Month.
Mirchi RTO Rules Todna Over -The initiative
Under this initiative, the first private FM company in Pune, 98.3 Mirchi, organized an initiative called “Mirchi RTO i.e. Rules Todan Over”. Under this initiative, Mirchi provided information about traffic rules, how it was necessary to follow traffic rules, and what kind of penalty could be imposed if the rules were broken.
As a further part of this initiative, Mirchi organized an RTO two-wheeler rally. Pune city was all set for this special initiative. This grand rally started from Balgandharva Chowk on February 1, 2025, at 9:00 AM. This rally was organized to convey the message of safe driving and the importance of following traffic rules. This initiative was implemented to inculcate safe driving habits among Punekars and create awareness about traffic rules.

This rally gave an important message to the people of Pune. The Mirchi RTO Rules Todna Over rally started from Balgandharva Chowk and connected with FC Road through Good Luck Chowk the proceeded towards Agricultural College. Pivoting from N.T. Wadi the motorcade moved towards Shimla Office towards Junglee Maharaj Road and they finally culminated at Balgandharva Chowk.

- Solo lady commuters
from various parts of Pune city. Additionally, helmets were mandatory to participate in this rally so that everyone followed vehicle safety.

Mirchi RTO Two-Wheeler Rally was an inspiring and awareness-raising event for Punekars. 98.3 Mirchi appealed to Punekars to resolve to follow traffic rules by participating in this rally that conveyed a message of safety. Those interested in participating in this rally registered their names on Radio Mirchi’s WhatsApp number 84 12 983 983.
A valid driving license and helmet were mandatory for registration. 98.3 Mirchi had always been at the forefront of organizing various types of activities in Pune. Mirchi had always been connected with Punekars in all ways, be it social, entertainment, or otherwise. 98.3 Mirchi intended that this activity should not be limited to just one day but should have a long-lasting impact.
