In this new bike, the wishes of customers and dealers alike, and some hardcore drivers had the opportunity to be the first to examine an early pre-series version of the KTM 790 ADVENTURE R. After the first day, the assembled riders were introduced to the history and positioning of this exciting new bike by KTM staff. The motorcycle was also ridden during the event by Chris Birch – eight-time New Zealand Enduro Champion, three-time winner of the Roof of Africa and winner of the Red Bull Romaniac in 2010 – and other celebrities.
The all-new in-line 2-cylinder ADVENTURE bike was developed in conjunction with KTM’s Dakar winning machine, the KTM 450 RALLY, and connects KTM’s Enduros with the 2019 Street Series.
Built in KTM’s signature READY TO RACE style and with the DNA of unrivalled off-road racing bikes in the blood, the lightweight KTM 790 ADVENTURE R has more to offer than just the look of a rally bike – it also has the performance and functionality of this one Image to be fully fair.
