The new Unified Braking System (UBS) is a new age braking concept from Yamaha that supports partial application of the front brake simultaneously when the rear brake is applied completely. The UBS enabled motorcycles from Yamaha will now have improved braking controls due to intensification of braking force with the help of the new technology.
The new Saluto with UBS (125 cc) will have an air cooled, 4 stroke, SOHC, 2-Valve engine based on the Blue Core Engine Development ideal and lightest in its class at 114 kg. The disk brake models with UBS have been developed for better controls and reliability.
The new Saluto RX with UBS (110 cc) mounts an air-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 110cc, 2-valve single-cylinder engine based on the Blue Core Engine Development concept and lightest weight in its class at 99 kg.
